About Rabbit Shows
Rabbit shows are held all around the country on just about any given weekend, although few are held during the summer months. In our part of the country, the show season usually runs from the beginning of February through early June, and then resumes for the fall in September through early/mid-December. Shows are typically hosted by local rabbit clubs or breed specialty clubs, and often on a given show date one can show in two "Open" and/or "Youth" shows plus possibly a specialty show for your particular breed or breeds, so your rabbits can be show multiple times in a single day. Shows typically start at 8 or 9 a.m. and last until some time in the afternoon, with show dates most often falling on Saturday, but some on Sundays; larger shows may encompass an entire weekend and can provide the opportunity to show each rabbit 4 or even 5 times during that time!
