Two Oaks Angoras
Our rabbitry goes by the name of "Two Oaks Angoras", and is registered with the American Rabbit Breeders' Association (ARBA). We have been raising purebred French Angora rabbits for several years, and in the last year we have added Giant Angoras and are starting to work with both REW's, which are currently the only showable color in the breed, and also with Blacks, which are currently in the process of possibly being approved by ARBA. Our goal with both breeds is to produce rabbits of excellent type in accordance with the breed standard, combined with exceptional wool production. You can find information about our new and expected litters on our Nestbox page, and about rabbits we have for sale on our For Sale page.
We are members of the American Rabbit Breeders Association (ARBA), the National Angora Rabbit Breeders Club (NARBC), and the Appalachian Angora Rabbit Club (AARC) where Pam is a founding member, and currently serves on the Board of Directors as club Secretary and is the Newsletter Editor. We started with a trio of French Angora rabbits from Spang Angoras in New York (thank you, Amy!), and are seeking to maintain and build upon that exceptional heritage through a program of line breeding using our original stock and selected additions. Our Giant Angora program started with a buck from Ashley Shaw in Pennsylvania, and has been supplemented by stock - again - from Spang Angoras.
We attend several shows each year, typically in Maryland, Pennsylvania, Virginia and West Virginia, and occasionally in Ohio and North Carolina. Take a look at our Show Results page to see our rabbits' winnings. For information about shows we currently plan to attend, visit our Upcoming Shows page. We can deliver rabbits and/or Heinold Feed to the shows we attend.
